Howard Wayland
Mr. Wayland is the current Executive Director of Mortgage Consumer Advocates a Mortgage Consumer Advocacy watch group. He is the past President of three national mortgage Banking companies. His last was Amstar Mortgage Corporation which produced up to $2.1 Billion in loan originations annually. He has managed up to 1200 employees and over 250 offices across the country. He has owed or managed company’s that made both wholesale and retail loans across the country. He has personally originated, underwritten and/or processed over 2500 loans. He has been a guest speaker regarding mortgage matters on radio talk shows, and has taught mortgage lending to real estate professionals as well as spoken at numerous conferences. His expertise is in mortgage originations and lending, loan products, consumer protection, the mortgage crisis, quality assurance and compliance and general mortgage business activity. He will be glad to speak to organizations or conference regarding any mortgage related topic. He is also available for consultation regarding mortgage matter and media interviews.
